Moon Landing
This video piece is an exploration of the notions of home, frontierism, and alienation. Shot during a visit to my home town I found myself caught between the familiarity of the rugged landscape and an overwhelming sense of not belonging culturally. While being born in a place and having family there is a strong anchor it is not always enough. Sometimes the amount of personal change we go through can transform us into an alien. Home becomes the final frontier.
